Timeshare Deals – A Vacation Opportunity

Holidays are an essential part of one’s happy living. The moment you think of holidays the first thing that comes to our mind is a good destination. Once you fix up the place where you want to enjoy the thoughts that crop up is whether to live in a hotel, a club, a resort or whether it is proper to invest in the best timeshare deals so that you can get back to the same place for a number of times.

As we hear the word time share, we think of a hassle free enjoyment of holidays where costs are reasonable to fit your pocket. Some people also find it perfect to invest in the timeshare deals as they think it is a very good way to save your recurring hotel costs.

The most important thing to be ensured before investing in the timeshare deals is the cost of the property. The other matters which follows next is the annual maintenance fee, time period of the share, legal complexities in the property, if any etc. However there are some carefree holiday lovers who just don’t even bother about all this and just feels happy in owning a timeshare.

In general, an easy guideline can be provided to the willing time share purchasers:

- Try not to buy absolutely new time share properties as you will get the same comforts in a second hand timeshare property.

- It is very important to check out that the property which you are intending to buy must be of suitable standard in comparison to the other hotels or vacation clubs.

- The annual maintenance fee is another thing in the check list. The lesser the fee the better it is for you. It should also be enquired as to how the fee will rise in course of time.

- Another very important thing that must be checked is the contract of the time share. It is the primary thing that will bind you in every aspect of the enjoyment.

In the timeshare deals the property returns back to the original owner as soon as the contract between the parties come to an end. The terms of contract are basically guided by the country laws and thus the terms and conditions are different in various countries. It is always advisable that you buy a share in the reputed companies, so there are lesser chances of risk of closing down of the companies.

More over reputed companies give you the option of exchanging your property as soon as you get bored of enjoying the same. These kinds of reputed companies may also help you in re selling your timeshare property. In other words, the reputed companies provide their customers with timeshare rescue. So, one must always invest in the right timeshare deals to enjoy the precious holidays.

I won a vacation through Kitchen Craft Cookware! Is it legitimate?

Question by Michelle: I won a vacation through Kitchen Craft Cookware! Is it legitimate?
I recently got engaged and came across a prize opportunity when I subscribed to a bridal magazine. It seemed legitimate and I didn’t have to provide any personal info besides my name and phone number. The opportunity was to win a pair of crystal glasses as well as other prizes. I won the glasses and I also won an all-inclusive vacation through Kitchen Craft Cookware. I was contacted by phone and spoke with an actual person who answered all my questions and explained the offer. It is somewhat similar to a timeshare giveaway. I was told several times that there is no obligation for me to purchase anything and my financial info will not be needed. I was given a claim number and asked to attend a Kitchen Craft West Bend Waterless Cookware Bridal Registry showcase at a Wyndham hotel. It is just for couples and only last 90 minutes. So far that seems to be the catch. I don’t mind attending the showcase, I might be interested in what the show offers and it is a short distance from my home. I am just looking to hear any advise or info from anyone who has dealt with this company and/or had the same experience. Is this legitimate? How can I tell? Where can I check the company out at?

Thanks!!!

Anyone have any travel ideas for August?

Question by Adam D: Anyone have any travel ideas for August?
Ok, so I got suckered (kinda) into a timeshare with RCI. I can stay in Cancun, Cabo, or Domincan Republic for 3 weeks out of the year (for 26 years)…. but I also get points with RCI for extra vacations. It’s a pretty good deal, but I am having trouble on deciding where to go. My girlfriend and some other friends are in college, so they can only go on vacation around mid December/ January. Or in July and August.

I want a place to go with my friends. None of us have very much money, but essentially the hotel would be paid for by me, so the only thing we have to worry about is airfare… Europe is probably out of the question for now… although I would like to go back some day.

We are from the San Francisco area if that helps anyone.

I’m tired of San Francisco, L.A. and Las Vegas.

Personally, I like relaxing vacations, like staying at a resort…. When I type in Hawaii, I can only find places to stay at Kapaa, Kailua-Kona, Koloa, Lihue, and Princeville.

I’ve never been to Hawaii, so I don’t know if any of these places are worth going to…. or where the better areas are.

how soon before a trip should we buy the tickets to get the best prices?

Question by Due on St. Patties: how soon before a trip should we buy the tickets to get the best prices?
for our honeymoon my fiance and i are planning on flying to ireland, going to wales & germany, and probably flying back out of ireland (unless we can get a good deal from another country but i think it’s usually best to fly back where you fly in)
we’re going next may (probably 5/5/10 or so)
my dad is letting us use his timeshare in ireland, we have friends in wales and family in germany to stay with so we won’t need lodging included
still not sure if we’re renting a car or not…
when would be the best time to purchase the tickets, and where should we buy them?
flying out of NY but can be albany, the city, even stewart (new burgh)

For that particular route, I’d probably wait until the fall to purchase plane tickets. Flights between the US and Ireland tend to be discounted for the winter and spring — but these sales typically don’t happen until September or so.

i’m ready to cancel my church wedding and expensive reception venue for a beach wedding in Los Cabos !?

Question by aj’smommy: i’m ready to cancel my church wedding and expensive reception venue for a beach wedding in Los Cabos !?
ok so here is the deal the food and beverage for 150 for a san francisco wedding is getting crazy!!! i want to have a beautiful wedding but don’t feel that in this economy we should settle for something mediocre because we cant afford the good stuff :) . i have been doing some research and can have a beautiful cabo wedding for 30 close family and friends for a great price on the beach way below budget with musicians and flowers and the beautiful views of the sea of Cortez’s! just a couple of Problems
1. we both have a grand parent that is 90 years old right now and fear they wont be able to travel.
2. my family my mom(dad is deceased), sisters and bro in-laws are all set for cabo and will do whatever i choose to make me happy
but my fiances family has been pushing there church social hall on me for the inexpensive alternative to my wedding. and all though it is a great place it does not reflect me or my fiance’s style . i love my future family and want them in cabo with us but i think when we say “ok change of plans” they are going to hate it!!! also me , my mom my sister and some of his family have a timeshare in cabo san lucas so all they will need is a plane ticket, flip flops and a smile!
the option to cancel the church wedding has nothing to do with our spirituality and relationship with our God. We believe even though the sanctuary in a church is a holy place of worship our faith teaches that God is everywhere. we will have a minister officiate on the beach as well as the civil ceremony for legal purposes. We are blessed that my fiance comes from a family of pastors that may come with us , as well as give us our counseling before we get married. we feel for us (not everyone) that it wont be official unless it is officiated by a minister before God.

I just got married myself. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember the only one you have to worry about is your fiance and yourself. If this is the perfect wedding for the both of you and is going to make you both happy than go for it. As, for your grandparents in their 90′s they might feel relief in not having to find a way there (because many times they feel like they are putting many family members out), getting all dressed up, and having to find a way home early. (I know that my grandmother was so happy that she did not have to come to the whole thing. She really loved watching the video that we had made just for her)
I guess what I am trying to say is if you think that for one moment that you will ever look back and regret not having the wedding of your dreams because you are worried about pleasing everyone else than DON”T get married in a church. GET MARRIED AT THE BEACH!!!!!
(I know we both regret doing the big wedding thing. I wish so many times that we should have done it our way)

One last thought. Remember they have all already had the wedding of their dreams so why shouldn’t you both.

I need some insight on this situation?

Question by : I need some insight on this situation?
I posted a question on here earlier today about my age difference with my boyfriend he’s 40 I’m 21. Well he was a packaged deal. He has a five year old daughter and a wife he is currently going through a divorce with. Well he is soooo concerned about making sure that his daughter transitions through this difficult time. So for starters they still go to church together, him and the wife, they drive separate cars and live in separate houses obviously but that is one of the things he feels he has to do. Not only that but in April, I was on spring break, I had a timeshare for a whole week he came and stayed one night and i do mean one night because he left the next morning, because he didn’t want to be away from the daughter too long. So I basically cut my vacay short because eventually i got tired of being there alone. We decided we would go later on during the year. Well its september and he would never set a date because he kept saying he had to gauge his daughters emotions before he leaves her for a full weekend. Now i’m no parent but i would think this would instill a false sense of security. Needless to say we wont be taking that vacay. And before you say it, not i do not believe he is still seeing his ex wife, i stay over at his place every night. He really is just this obsessed with his daughter and is determined to “cover” her as he puts it, making sure she knows dad is there for her.
i really was just asking insight on the church situation and the vacation situation.

Answer by Margaret C
You are the other woman if their divorce is not final yet.

Wait until they are really divorced, and then start transitioning. If the daughter’s family goes smoothly from Mom and Dad to Step-Mom and Dad, she will learn that it’s okay to jump from one spouse to the next with no problem and no time between. That’s just not healthy for her. It’s not fair to his wife (she’s no an ex yet). And it’s not fair to you to be in the middle of their divorce.

Put this relationship on hold until it is better defined.
