Does anyone know about Monarch Grand vacation timeshares?

Question by sad1: Does anyone know about Monarch Grand vacation timeshares?
My fiance and I recently went to a an MGV Presentation and we were impressed with what they had to offer for the price. When we had a notary come to our house to go through all the paperwork with us, we were surprised when she said she “forgot” the package info and will have it fed-ex to us. Of course, she had all the papers ready for us to sign. When we questioned use of one of the resorts, we were told we cannot use that resort cuz they didn’t have a sales floor. Come to find out, we need to attend yet another presentation even after we have bought into it. Not that its a deal breaker, but if they left that piece of info out, what other surprises are in store for us after we sign and buy? Does anyone know about MGV? (Preferably an owner) Are they legit? Or can someone recommend a better company?

Thanks!

Just how F#@KING STUPID ARE YOU? Don’t you know ANYTHING? don’t you know that TIMESHARES went out of favor BEFORE THIS CENTURY.. don’t you know there are thousands or MILLIONS of SUCKERS who bought a timeshare who would be more than happy to UNLOAD IT ON SOME GULLIBLE AMERICAN.?

TIMESHARES are FOR SUCKERS…. You can only use them for 2 weeks PER YEAR and you will pay about 4 TIMES what you could stay in a 5 star resort for.

I’ll bet you were of those SUCKERS who got a FREE CRUISE so they could sell you a TIMESHARE because you sound like someone who wants SOMETHING FOR NOTHING and would be GULLIBLE enough to buy a TIMESHARE… what a PIGEON.. did you get some cracked corn too?

Finally.. THEY KNOW HOW STUPID AND GULLIBLE YOU ARE.. because NOBODY who knows anything about REAL ESTATE knows YOU NEVER SING BLANK PAPERS.. that is just so STUPID that I don’t know how to tell you nicely that YOU ARE STUPID AND GULLIBLE.

Q&A: TimeShares I got one and would like your input!?

Question by Momof4gr8boiz: TimeShares I got one and would like your input!?
I just got a time share ( I know) I know I have 4 young children and am taking them on one vacation yearly, next year is Disney World, next Myrtle Beach, Next Virginia. My time share is bi-annual 1/104. I got a 2/3 bedroom condo (5 stars). I paid $ 7000 I want to know is this a pretty good deal. Thanks! (going to disney world for the place and same days ran me about $ 3000) i didn’t price the other locations. Did I pay too much?
My annual is $ 225
The 12 get away things are cool too, not as cheap as they said it would be, but good for friends and family, otherwise, if we have family reunions and want to not pay the expensive rate.

I am not sure I understand all the details….

You paid $ 7000 to own 2 weeks per year of a 2/3 bedroom condo? Is it deeded? (Can your children inherit it?) Do you keep it forever?

If the answer to these questions is yes, then it seems like a pretty good deal. But really, bottom line is that if this fits your family and makes you all happy, then you did the right thing regardless.

If you are still feeling unsure, you should compare it to the Disney Vacation Club – it’s timeshare but with points – you have a certain number of points you can spend every year on resorts all around the world. It costs more than you spent, but it is deeded and has deluxe accomodations.

Good Luck!

Q&A: Friend’s fantasy team got owned by injuries, time to make a deal?

Question by Nubz: Friend’s fantasy team got owned by injuries, time to make a deal?
My team:
QB- Cutler, Orton
RB- Thomas Jones, Brandon Jacobs, Cadillac Williams, McGahee, LeSean McCoy
WR- Calvin Johnson, Wes Welker, TJ Houshmanzadeh, Eddie Royal, Jeremy Maclin
TE- Vernon Davis

His Team-
QB- Tom Brady, Matt Hasselback
RB- Matt Forte, Kevin Smith, Leon Washington (on IR now), Larry Johnson (suspended, probably done at this point)
WR- Larry Fitzgerald, Donald Driver, Miles Austin, Nate Burleson, Brandon Marshall
TE- Chris Cooley (Injured for 4+ weeks), Todd Heap.

Do I try to make a move for one of his WR’s? I was thinking of offering Jacobs and Eddie Royal for Donald Driver and Matt Forte. I have to believe forte is going to get it in gear soon here, and Jacobs is in a bad timeshare with Bradshaw at the moment.

Go for it? Or stick with my team?

he would probably take a trade but not that one, ROYAL BLOWS he only has 25 fantasy points on the year and only one good game if he takes that trade he is one of the dumbest ppl I know and it doesnt even look like he needs too he has heap, and unless its a 3 rb league or needs a flex if I wasnt him I wouldnt trade b/c he has forte and smith and even if the other two guys wernt injured I wouldnt start them and even if it is a flex wr/rb he has amazing wr’s so if i was him I would just stay put unless it is a 3 rb league but if you want to make a trade, unless he is a retard(which he might be for having LJ ans Leon in the first place) your going to have to offer him something better

Q&A: To go or not to go on a three day vacation that includes a timeshare presentation?

Question by cldb730: To go or not to go on a three day vacation that includes a timeshare presentation?
We have no interest in actually buying anything but are considering going on the trip. My main problem is that you won’t know where you’re staying until you get there. I don’t want to drive the 6 hours to make the trip and then be stuck in a dump of a place. They say you’ll stay in a three-star hotel. What are your thoughts on this? Does anyone have any experience with this kind of thing? I’d like to hear from anyone who’s done this, but I’m especially interested in hearing from you if you’ve dealt with Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

Should I just not show up?

Question by : Should I just not show up?
Today I started for working for a company that “resells timeshares.” After doing some research I found out that the company is one big FRAUD. They literally just take peoples money. Co-workers were using false names when dealing with customers, telling them that we were in a “show room” (we’re in a small building where everyone has their own table) and all I heard were lies coming from everyone’s mouths. I don’t want to be apart of that, I was just really uncomfortable. I don’t want to go back AT ALL and see these people. especially the owner, he’s the worst! Should I just not show up? Should I call? E-mail? I personally, just want to stop going. What should I do? It was only one day!

Just keep working there. It may be dishonest but you’ll come to find that most occupations are.
