Question by Michelle: I won a vacation through Kitchen Craft Cookware! Is it legitimate?
I recently got engaged and came across a prize opportunity when I subscribed to a bridal magazine. It seemed legitimate and I didn’t have to provide any personal info besides my name and phone number. The opportunity was to win a pair of crystal glasses as well as other prizes. I won the glasses and I also won an all-inclusive vacation through Kitchen Craft Cookware. I was contacted by phone and spoke with an actual person who answered all my questions and explained the offer. It is somewhat similar to a timeshare giveaway. I was told several times that there is no obligation for me to purchase anything and my financial info will not be needed. I was given a claim number and asked to attend a Kitchen Craft West Bend Waterless Cookware Bridal Registry showcase at a Wyndham hotel. It is just for couples and only last 90 minutes. So far that seems to be the catch. I don’t mind attending the showcase, I might be interested in what the show offers and it is a short distance from my home. I am just looking to hear any advise or info from anyone who has dealt with this company and/or had the same experience. Is this legitimate? How can I tell? Where can I check the company out at?
Thanks!!!

NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS FREE………if you have doubts, call the magizene.
Give your answer to this question below!
it will be legit when you go to the showcase and pay for it. they tell everyone they won. Don’t get me wrong there is a trip but you will pay for it, and you will also be the brand new owner of their products that they are selling.
the Better Business Bureau shoudl have info on them….
we went to a thing like this… sat thru the ‘lecture’, got a pretty clock, spent a nice night at a hotel for free….. even got lunch for free…. went home…. no more contact…. once they realized we were too poor to buy the timeshare they were selling, they left us alone…..
ask BBB about them… but if you don’t have to pay to travel far, I’d go…. their cookware is nice and you just might like it…. you can also look them up on Google…

personally, I have pieces of the set my mom bought back in the sixties…. I don’t and she didn’t use them as ‘waterless’ cookware, we just cooked normally in them… but they’ve lasted this long quite nicely…. they’re an ‘heirloom’ set…. sure they’re expensive, but an American made set of heavy stainless cookware is priceless when you really think about it…..
take your vacation, look over the cookware… just realize you get THREE DAYS to cancel if you happen to get talked into one of their Thousand dollar sets or more!!!….
Everyone who shows up at the demonstration has been told they won. You will probably get a free stay in a timeshare, but you will have to pay airfare and incidentals.
You will DEFINITELY get a hard core sales tactic on overpriced cookware. They will tell you how every other cookware causes cancer, how your food won’t stick in their pans, etc. A set will cost you well over 2K, when you can buy AllClad (better) for $ 700. They have VERY shady financing practices. There are loads and loads of complaints about their bait and switch practices and their scare tactic salesmanship. you will end up with a jacked up 30% interest rate if you sign on the dotted line. Last year I saw an “on your side” report on local news about this very scam. They bilked an engaged couple out of $ 3000, wouldn’t refund or return, and ruined their credit, even garnished the groom’s wages. Know how they got sucked in? a bridal show and the promise of a free trip. BEWARE.
You can check out the official website for more info on that.
